Mahābhārata

Mahābhārata: epic relating the history of B h a r a t a v a r s h a, the empire of India that controlled the world five thousand years ago. It deals with the struggle of the nobles of the V e d i c culture at the time of K r i s h n a from which is taken the Bhāgavad Gītā (see V y ā s a d e v a).
