Hieronymous Bosch (c. 1450-1516)

Garden of Earthly Delights (triptych)-Outer wings, "Creation of the World"

Here we show only the outer wings of a triptych of Bosch. All the scenery of the Garden of Eden painted by him was dedicated to, put in the frame of, the great cosmic time of God . The creation of that cosmic time he pictures as a globe. The world was pretty much geocentric at the time, but the conception is not wrong. Modern science also concluded that all the universes are in an equal expansion as if on a globe of time. Thus the world found its existence and do we see from the science of Bosch' selfrealization the same: the original onset of time is that of a globe. From that everything expanded into the complete of natural diversity.
